apropo of nothing...

I hate daylight savings time. I hate it, my animals hate it, it disrupts feeding schedules at home, at the barn, everywhere. It disrupts everyone's sleeping patterns, it means long hot summer evenings when the clock says it is time for bed (since I get up at 4am) and the sun says it is still afternoon. It's not like it is actually another hour of daylight....
I hate daylight savings time.

Just in case you were wondering.

  2. I don't like it either. Its totally useless. Ther must be some selfish money-profiting reason why we still do it but I don't feel like pondering that right now. ;)

  4. DST was pretty much the only good that about living in Indiana until this year. We never did that daylight savings time crap. It was wonderful. 8am was always 8am.

Until this year that is. The idiots in charge decided for reasons, unbeknownst to anyone, to implement DST this year. UCK!
